Out 1

Alec Pierce
Out
Colts general manager Chris Ballard spoke about Pierce's situation Tuesday, noting that the wideout received a platelet-rich plasma injection in January before opting for surgery on his ankle two months later when the shot didn't yield the desired results. Pierce has suffered no setbacks and required no follow-up procedures, and any concern about his ankle didn't deter the Colts from signing him to a four-year, $114 million contract in March. The fifth-year player still looks like he has a few more hurdles to clear before returning to action, and he currently remains on the PUP list.

Questionable 2

Cameron Mitchell
Questionable
By reverting to the Colts' IR, Mitchell will be forced to sit for the entire 2026 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with Indianapolis. He appeared in 10 regular-season games between the Browns and Colts last year, and finished with 19 tackles (14 solo), four pass defenses and one forced fumble.

Sauce Gardner
Questionable
The Colts' top cornerback has also been dealing with a calf issue during camp after initially sustaining a calf strain in Week 13 of last season. He ended up missing the following three games and four of the last five contests to close out the 2025 regular season. The Colts are banking on the soon-to-be 25-year-old to key their secondary this season.
