Lucas started training camp on the active/PUP list and apparently will not be in position to contribute any time soon. The cornerback will now spend the entirety of the 2026 season on injured reserve unless he is waived with an injury settlement.

While the Buccaneers appear intent on holding on to Vea, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reporting that the defensive tackle's camp sees no end to the current stalemate other than a trade. With both Vea heading into a contract year, the star defensive tackle could be set to "hold in" for a longer period than either party is comfortable with.

Wirfs got hurt during a conditioning test and is currently considered day-to-day. Once healthy again, the 27-year-old will resume his role as the team's starting left tackle.
